Resolution: the sensor is able to detect and distinguish the minimum the measured change within measuring range.
Accuracy: error between actual angle and the root mean square of angle multiply measured by the sensor.
- Blue and gray cables are used for factory debugging. Users are forbidden to connect them.
- In case interface RS232 is used, the green and yellow cables represent serial ports TXD and RXD respectively; in case interface 485 is chosen, the green and yellow cables represent 485- and 485+.
- In case two-cable output is chosen, either brown and orange cables or white and purple cables may be connected to external driving voltage. In case the relay is closed upon alarm, the other group of cables will output external driving voltage. If single-cable output is chosen and the relay if close upon the alarm in a circuit, the voltage output on the cables will be the same as that of power supply.
The axis of the sensor and the measured axis should keep parallel. They should not produce an angle.
LIS342 is a dual-axis inclination switch produced by BEWIS Sensing Technology LLC. With a measurement range is +/- 90°, the output cable turns to closed (or disconnected) in case the measured inclination is larger than alarm threshold value, if otherwise, the output cable is normally open (or closed) if the measured inclination does not reach alarm threshold value. Users are not required to purchase an extra relay since an embedded relay has been equipped in the product. Max current may reach as high as 1A at normally closed status, and alarm threshold value can be determined as per the practical situation. It is characterized by its small size, high consistency and stability. As a highly cost-effective inclination switch, it is able to work under an industrial range of temperature from -4085.
